- A childhood friend of Mizuki Yukikaze, who thinks of her like an older sister. Akiyama Tatsuro is her younger brother. Rinko uses a tachi and is a master of the "Ace Katana Style," a sword art that has been passed down from generation to generation between Shinobi. She is a skilled and beautiful swordswoman who is feared as the "Slasher Taimanin." She enjoys looking after her younger "sister" (Yukikaze) and brother (Tatsuro), to whom she is very kind and lenient, often even too lenient. But this is a side of hers she only shows to those two, while in the academy she is seen as a strong, beautiful, and strict senpai. Perhaps because cherishing her siblings is more fun than romance, she shows absolutely no interest in the abundant advances from male students. Rinko is tremendously popular with the female students as well; a secret "Rinko-sama Fanclub" exists and is showing formidable growth. She always operates alongside Yukikaze and supports her devotedly.
